April 17, 2019 – Amsterdam, the Netherlands – enviolo announced today that over 1,100 European retailer participants completed full-day workshop sessions in their MY2019 Retail Training Series. The educational program ran from  October 2018 to March 2019, and included a total of 56 trainings at 19 locations. This year, the curriculum was built around the MY2019 groupsets, with an extensive hands-on workshop segment, to make sure retailers are equipped with the right technical knowledge for the upcoming cycling year.

For MY2019, we have adapted our curriculum to the needs of retailers by introducing full-day sessions with short theoretical introductions, and more diverse troubleshooting workshops. Looking at the feedback we received after each workshop, I am confident when saying our team has clearly achieved its goal of preparing bicycle retailers for the new season. This participant feedback was complimentary of our direct conversations with a hands-on agenda.” said Richard Hilgart, Marketing Manager Global, enviolo.

“Keep it up, it’s a great piece of technology! … After the training everyone will shine with more knowledge. No matter if he/she had previous experience with the circuit or was totally new to the area,” said German Retailer.

“This has been one of the best trainings I’ve been to! Most others I’ve just sat and watched a presentation. To work with the products is a much better way of doing trainings,” said Dutch Retailer.

With the goal of expanding after-market activities in Europe, starting January through March, KMC, the sprocket and chain manufacturer, also participated as a partner in some of the training events.  KMC’s trainers joined enviolo’s face-to-face workshops in six locations in both the DACH and BENELUX regions.

Fast wearing drive trains on e-Bikes were intensively discussed during the enviolo workshops. For us, it was a great opportunity to explain our optimized drive train components face-to-face with the retailers. Especially our 10.000km+ drive train, in combination with the enviolo hub, got a lot of attention and was considered to be the perfect solution for people riding far over 5000km per year. said Rob Compas, KMC.

Given the high interest, enviolo will be relaunching this educational program in October 2019 to support Retailers for MY2020. Sign up via to the enviolo newsletter to receive the latest news on training locations, product development, webinars and other events.
