Enviolo publishes second Sustainability Report,
marking measurable progress against its 2030 goals
Today, on World Bicycle Day, Enviolo publishes its 2025 Sustainability Report — the second annual progress update on envision, the company’s holistic sustainability strategy. The report details two years of progress against 11 ambitious targets and renews Enviolo’s invitation to the cycling industry to join in building more sustainable bikes and a more responsible future.
envision is structured around three pillars — Thriving Planet, Empowered Community, and Responsible Business — that together encompass 11 quantitative targets to be achieved by 2030. These targets define the first steps in Enviolo’s long-term commitment to building a truly sustainable business, one that creates value for every one of its stakeholders. The company has committed to reporting consistently on its progress, both achievements and challenges.

Highlights from 2025 include:
Recycled aluminium
Enviolo’s CVP hub shells and covers now contain a minimum of 90% certified recycled aluminium, bringing the average recycled content across products and packaging to 17%
Lower carbon intensity
The company has reduced its carbon emissions intensity by 26% compared to last year, driven by intentional product eco-design and supply chain collaboration
Greener production
Enviolo’s Tier 1 suppliers now run on an average of 55% renewable electricity
Social due diligence
The company has begun implementing an independent human rights audit programme across its supply chain
“We are very proud of our achievements in 2025,” said Omar El Nayal, Enviolo’s Director of Operations. “This is the first time we are seeing such tangible results from the framework we built two years ago, which reaffirms that envision is focusing on the right topics. I hope we can serve as an example for the industry: a clear strategy and clear targets lead to steady progress.”
2025 marks only one step in a longer journey.
In 2026, Enviolo will continue applying the eco-design principles developed for the redesigned CITY hub to new products coming to market. Work is also underway to verify recycled content in additional CVP components and packaging, building on the impact achieved in 2025. Joint initiatives with contract manufacturers will continue, with more suppliers scheduled to undergo both Enviolo quality audits and independent human rights audits in the year ahead.
“None of this progress would be possible without the support of our partners. We’re seeing a genuine desire across the value chain — from key customers to trusted suppliers — to transform our industry into a real force for good, and we’re determined to play a leading role in that transformation,” El Nayal added.
