Enviolo announces a new HQ in Amsterdam. The company transitioned from split entities in Zwolle (Quality, Operations and Warehouse) and Amsterdam (Headquarters) into one integrated location. By bringing all departments closer to the product and day-to-day operations, Enviolo ensures streamlined communication and cross-functional collaboration. The move is another step forward towards its next phase.
As part of its core strategy, Enviolo is bringing all departments in the Netherlands together in one office. A multi-faceted location in the heart of the European cycle city, Amsterdam. Spanning more than 1,250 m², the newly expanded office enables Enviolo to showcase its products to customers and let them experience them, while at the same time providing dedicated space for all corporate functions, training opportunities, service, storage and wheel repair.
The new office is located in the old chewing gum factory on the East side of Amsterdam. The building is easily accessible with car- and bike parking available in front of the building and public transport around the corner. The new building is BREEAM Excellent In-Use Certified with an A+++ energy rating, operates exclusively on electricity and is powered through certified green energy contracts, which is in line with Enviolo’s sustainability goals.
The previous Warehouse and Quality activities were since 2014 operated from Zwolle, the Netherlands. The Zwolle facility is officially closed since February 28, 2026, and the warehouse operations have been moved to a third-party logistics company. By having an outsourced warehouse, Enviolo ensures improved global reach and flexibility in the market. Quality and Wheel lacing activities have been transferred to Amsterdam, which ensures streamlined communication between Product, Sales and Quality, and resulting in higher efficiency. Besides the new Amsterdam HQ, the Research & Engineering Center in Austin, TX, continues to operate as usual.
Alexander Buytendijk explains that the office move reflects a broader vision, “Bringing all teams closer to each other is one thing, the next is to ensure we continue building Enviolo as a leading ingredient brand in premium urban mobility, with a focus on OEM partnerships, portfolio expansion, a retail first mentality and a strong brand identity”.
